MTCC-Asia held remotely 3rd Global Green Shipping Forum
On November 18 2020, the 3rd Global Green Shipping Forum was remotely jointly held by Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) and MTCC-Asia in Shanghai. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) and nearly 100 guests and representatives from Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Turkey, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the Philippines, Pakistan and Laos joined the Forum.
MTCC-Asia Held Second Global Forum on Green Shipping in Shanghai

International Conference on Ship Energy Efficiency 2019 successfully held

Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) and Maritime Technology Cooperation Centre for Asia (MTCC-Asia), which is funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), will jointly host the International Conference on Ship Energy Efficiency from 22-26 April 2019 in Shanghai, China.

GMN Project Manager delivered speech at the Smart Ports Summit
The Smart Ports Summit was held on 19-20 February 2019, Hilton Canary Wharf, London. Mr. Anton Rhodes, the Project Manager of International Maritime Organization (IMO) GMN was invited to give a presentation on 19 February entitled as “A closer look at the Smart Port – Examining the drivers behind change”.
IMO MSC 100 held on December 3-7, 2018
On December 3, 2018, the United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO) hosted a special event at the headquarters in London to celebrate the 100th Maritime Safety Committee (MSC 100). As one of the important programs of the celebration, Shanghai Maritime University presented a song “For a Better Future” at the conference.
